The Bakish Mai Multiversity is located in the community of San Francisco - Laguna Shanshococha, in Ucayali (Peruvian Amazon).

 

The Multiversity functions as a meeting and study place focused on Shipibo life practices and territorial sovereignty. It hosts meetings of Shipibo Indigenous Guards, workshops on Indigenous self-determination, ethnobotanical investigation, courses on Indigenous cosmology and food sovereignty focused on the needs of the Shipibo communities.
